According to China Book Business Report (www.cbbr.com.cn), twelve Chinese publishers were very active in purchasing the copyrights from their counterparts abroad in 2005. These Chinese publishers are Jieli Publishing House, Zhejiang Children Book Press, Publishing House of Electronic Industry, People’s Literature Publishing House, China Machine Press, Shanghai Translation Publishing House, Yilin Publishing House, Citic Press, Shanghai People Publishing House, Shanghai Foreign Language & Education Publisher, Commercial Press, Foreign Language Teaching & Research Press (FLTRP). The revenue from in-licensed book sale of FLTRP reached 100 million euro, followed by Zhejiang Children Book Press (60 million euro). |
