Olga Karpova, Doctor of Philology, Head of English Department, Ivanovo State University, member of EURALEX (with 2 Verbatim Awards 1993, 1997); Historical Lexicography Society (UK); Russian Association of Applied Linguistics, National Association for the Teachers of English Russia. She defended two dissertations on English Writers Dictionaries (1978) and Shakespeare lexicography (1991) at Leningrad State University, worked in lexicographic centers in England (grant from the British Academy) and Norway (Norwegian Research Council); has Eugen Wüster Special Award (UNESCO).
Faina Kartashkova
, Doctor of Philology, Professor of English Department, Ivanovo State University, a member of International Association of Cognitive Research. She defended two dissertations on Functioning of Synsemantic Nouns in the Text (Leningrad State University, 1980) and Indirect Nomination in English Speech (St. Petersburg State University, 2001).
