The high quality of contemporary Finnish architecture has an impressive forum in the many photographic anthologies we have published in recent years. Even today, thirty years after his death, Alvar Aalto remains indisputably Finland’s best known architect. His numerous works, both in Finland and abroad, as well as his persona and architectural philosophy continue to interest and inspire both writers and our readers. This high level of interest is reflected in our production, in several books dealing with Aalto and his work.
